A day of movement & breath exploring the inner strength and powerful calm which may emerge through the practice of yoga. Please bring a curiosity for being a little more wild and a little more free.  A sense of humour and a love for subtlety are also welcome.

Peaceful Awakening 7:30 - 9:30am  $25

A morning practice dedicated to the vitality of breath (pranayama), simple asana, therapeutic movement & the ancient art of sitting still.  This session is inspired by the wisdom of early morning quiet, the Zen tradition of simply sitting and a love for the deep calm which emerges when we centre down into the mystery of being.

Wisdom of the Middle: Wheel Pose  1:30 - 4:00 pm $35

Practice will include cross referencing of the two hemispheres of the body & the tides of the breath as a way to prepare, play and explore variations of wheel pose. Variations will be offered for all bodies.Workshop will close with a meditation on the 10 vital winds as they relate to the refinement of pratyahara (sense-withdrawal) & a quiet mind.
