MeridiYIN
with Karl Notargiovanni
Saturday, April 23rd // 2:00pm - 4:00pm
In-Person: $35
Virtual: $25
MeridiYIN was inspired after over a decade of teaching yoga and several years studying Yin-Yang theory, 5 elements, and muscular-tendinous meridians. This practice combines Yin yoga with TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) to circulate the body’s energy (personal Qi) according to the circulation of the ‘Body Clock’.
The emphasises is on training the breath to circulate breath and Qi freely in the individual’s body. This involves cultivating physical stillness and or conscious movement and/or postures, designed to produce relaxation or releasing of muscular tension combined with special breathing techniques.
These benefits may include:
faster recovery from injury
the health benefits of being relaxed
an increase in connection to your legs, spine, arms and head
increased stamina
increased athletic ability and health
regulation of blood pressure
experiencing the channels of the body
developing an authentic connection to our personal energy and centres
It is an internal journey that we travel by going ‘deeper’ towards the core of who and what we are by awakening the energetic system of the body.
